At Pro-Omni, we specialize in engineering design and development across a wide range of disciplines. We take pride in cultivating close relationships with our clients to provide personalized services and solutions to meet their particular needs. While every client has specific challenges, budgets, and timelines – we’re here to help guide your product development needs, end to end.
Pro-Omni utilizes state-of-the-art software to optimize design functionality and manufacturability. Our specialties include systems, electrical, mechanical, optical, and software/firmware engineering.
Our mechanical engineers use SolidWorks or whatever CAD software our clients chooses to create highly functional and manufacturable designs. We also have a network of machine shops, plastic molders, 3D print facilities and optics suppliers to create the parts we design.
We design both rigid and flexible printed circuit boards for benign and extreme environmental conditions. Control electronics can either be processor or FPGA based, and we specialize in analog circuitry as well. We often use Altium software for PCB layout, but we can use others if needed.
.
Successful product launches rely on innovative and effective systems engineering. Our team can manage the full system architecture and perform risk assessment to ensure proper functionality.
Our engineers excel in optical concept development, design, simulation, and testing across the IR, visible and UV spectrums. We use both Zemax and Code V software to create optical designs.
Our firmware and software engineers develop embedded code and graphical user interfaces to seamlessly integrate the hardware and electronics into a working system. Our engineers have extensive coding experience in C, C++, Java and Python.
At the start of a project, our engineers will assess if the product requires tolerance and/or FEA analysis for design optimization. The FEA analysis may include structural, modal, thermal or CFD. We use both Ansys and SolidWorks Simulation to run FEA analysis.
We can manage every aspect of the project from start to finish. This includes creating product specs and statements of work; performing trade and feasibility studies; overseeing schedules, budgets and part procurement, managing staff and hosting meetings.
Our engineers can develop test plans, generate reports, and perform environmental and EMI testing to ensure product quality and survivability. We have extensive experience conducting MIL-STD-810 tests for military/aerospace products and ISTA tests for medical and consumer products.
As part of our prototyping capabilities, Pro-Omni can design quick-turn printed circuit boards and 3D printed mechanical parts. We have a network of quick-turn suppliers, and can build and test the prototypes ourselves.
We not only provide our clients with turnkey design solutions, we also set them up for production success with assembly procedures, work instructions, traveler documents, and build and test fixtures. We are happy to teach other engineers, technicians and contract manufacturers how to build and test the products as well.
